Who we are

The Directors of Quality and Improvement NPC (the DoQI) is a professional body for its members.

Our contact details are as follows:

What personal data do we collect and why?

Registration, Application, and related Forms

Personal data such as name, email address, contact number, organization and country details is captured when you submit our registration form to confirm your attendance of any of our current and future events, whether organized by the DoQI or its partners or organizations it collaborates with, to join as a member and or to participate in any of our initiatives, projects and activities. We keep the data to enable us to communicate with and to provide you with membership services.

The data can be removed at any time at your request, however, membership related and service enabling data can only be removed upon permanently ceasing to become a member of the DoQI.

Contact us Form

Personal data such as name, email address, contact number, and country details is captured when you submit our contact us form to make an enquiry, require customer service, or to communicate generally with us from time to time. We keep your data to enable us to communicate with you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how our site is utilised and in order to enable us to make improvements. We may use other analytics tools at our discretion.

Who do we share your data with

Any data provided by our users will not be shared with 3rd parties without the permission of our users. Exceptions are approved 3rd parties with whom we collaborate or partner, affiliate to, are a member of or sub-contract to as part of our service, network and or supply chain. However, should we be required by law to make your data available to an official regulatory, government agency or by a lawful order of a competent court, we will notify you of such an order and what data we are compelled to make available. In such circumstances, we shall not interfere with or obstruct any user or member from exercising any of their legal rights to protect their data.

How long do we retain your data for?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users who register on our website, we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Our website administrators can also see and edit that information.

We keep member data for as long as they remain members of the DoQI.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account or profile on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Direct all enquiries to info@directorsofquality.org with the subject: Personal data, or simply complete the Contact Us form and send it to us.

Should you find our Terms and Privacy policy disagreeable, we advise you to rather not use our services and website.

Where do we send your data?

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. The DoQI currently makes use of Akismet Anti-Spam. But may use any other service at its discretion.

We collect information about visitors who comment on sites that use our Akismet anti-spam service. The information we collect depends on how the User sets up Akismet for the Site, but typically includes the commenter’s IP address, user agent, referrer, and Site URL (along with other information directly provided by the commenter such as their name, username, email address, and the comment itself).
